My name is Ian Sime, and I was born in Liverpool UK on May 8th 1970, and I have lived in Liverpool all of my life.

I was married to Joanne on June 24th 1995, and we were blessed with a baby boy called Matthew on November 25th 1997. Our second child, Heather, was born on June 10th 2002.

My career path in IT has taken me from Vernons Pools, to LabSystems, to Marconi Interactive Systems in Chorley, whom I left on February 15th 2002, as part of a voluntary redundancy scheme. I now work for Chris Rodgers & Associates in Ormskirk as IT Manager.

One of my favourite hobbies is karting. My friends, colleagues and I go to SpeedKarting in Warrington for indoor karting, and to Three Sisters in Wigan for outdoor karting. I also get my adrenalin kicks from jumping out of planes, driving a Lotus Elise around Donnington Park, Rally Driving at Silverstone, or knitting. Well OK, maybe not knitting.
