Outdoor Karting 2002

This years outdoor karting event was another great success, especially as we had 18 drivers. The evening was incident packed, to say the least, mostly due to the very wet track. I was not alone in spinning off and going straight into a giant deep puddle of water !
Anyway, the upshot is that I made it into the 'A' Final (in pole position), and spent most of the race in 2nd place. However, at the very last corner, I managed to just hold a better line than the driver in front, and I passed him to take the chequered flag and win by 0:00.08 second - that's 8 hundreths of a second !
